it was one of my first days in tokyo when i saw this on one of the toilets of the building that the tourist information office was in. i was by myself in the bathroom and kept pressing "flushing sound" button over and over again because i thought it was the funniest damn thing i had ever seen. when i was finally able to tear myself away from 'flushing sound' i left the bathroom stall and washed my hands, thinking 'there's no way in hell that people actually use this!' just then, a woman arrived, stepped into the stall, closed the door and pressed the 'flushing sound' button. i had to leave without drying my hands because i was afraid i was laughing too loudly.
