ever wondered what being an editor is like? to be honest, it’s not very glamorous. as a matter of fact, it’s a lot like this

admittedly, i don’t write as much as i used to (these darn movies keep getting in the way) but i found these rules for writers by writers fascinating. i think my favorite is the one by phillip pullman.

as i sat there editing at work, i stumbled upon a really interesting radiolab episode about blinking. walter murch and two japanese scientists who study blinking discuss this really fascinating subject and how it relates to our movie watching.

i think my favorite mit hack was when they turned the dome into r2d2, their latest rickroll of the dome is probably my second favorite!

reading this article, i’ve come to the realization that i haven’t been thinking like a burglar correctly. looks like i’ll need to rewrite all those crime capers i’ve written. (note to self: continue to not hide stuff in the toilet)

yay! even in the chaos of reporting on all things excellent at e3, the fine folks at ds fanboy gave a nice shout out to my nintendo ds critters on sale! i hope this leads to more critters finding good homes.
