happy labor day. thank your union brothers and sisters.

so here's my wacky new (yet true) excuse for being so lame about updating the site. i have somehow managed to acquire repetitive stress injuries in ~both~ my arms! how nerdly is that? anyway, at least i'm not like the clown.

why doesn't anyone ever seem to notice the lack of female directors in hollywood? off the top of my head, i can count 'em on one hand: penelope spheeris, mimi leeder, penny marshall and katheryn bigelow. something's horribly, horribly wrong, but thankfully, salon has a good article about it.

i have to admit that i don't really like seinfeld. the snippets of episodes that i've seen while at the summer's house just seem really mean-spirited. despite that, i think the trailer for comedian, his new movie, is fantastically hilarious.

aside from seinfeld, the summer was also able to point me towards this apple switch parody about gaming. it's funny in a cute, platform-wars sort of way.
